Rachels Potpourri is here to help build your sales, we would like to offer you some information on reselling and storage of the potpourri and fixens!
Your potpourri from Rachels Potpourri will come bagged in extra thick gallon sized bags. If you are going to be storing the potpourri or rosehips for long periods of time, (longer than a few weeks) we recommend that you do not keep floral/berry/unique scents together with any potpourri that has a cinnamon base. Cinnamon is very strong, Rachels Potpourri scents are very strong, and it would be easy for the scents to mingle. It would be in your best interest to keep the different scents of potpourri separated, in cool dark places. The scents do and will last a long time in the potpourri. If you are familiar with rosehip fixens, you understand that it is not as possible to hold the scent on these as long. We recommend that if you are reselling in a store, to bring just enough bags until your next visit to restock!
Pricing our wholesale potpourri and fixens is a personal choice, a base line we would like to give you, is for every two cup portion of potpourri, resell for $4.95. Some markets allow for this price to be even higher. The rosehip fixens, can be sold in one or two cup portions, anywhere from $2.95 for a cup, up to $6.95 for two cups, again depending on your market.
If you are doing a show, a great way to sell the potpourri, is to sell it out of old tins, or baskets, and have a 'scoop' of some sort, and sell by the scoop. If it is a one cup scoop, sell for $3.00, etc. If you don't want to do the tins or baskets, simply bagging the potpourri, and tieing with homespun or jute and putting the bags in tins or baskets is very attractive! No matter how you sell, you will get the attention from the awesome smell!
